Guild Charter

Stability and Experience: OOB was formed (under our former name Order of Bahamut) just a couple weeks after the server was opened in October 2005. <OOB> was made in November 2006 and has been raiding on Kael'thas since level 60 Molten Core. We have survived many summers, stale content syndromes, and multiple expansions.

Efficiency: Although we strive to reach high levels of progression, our goal is to do so on a limited raiding schedule (9 hours/week). Accordingly, we strive to be as efficient with our members' time as we can.

Community: Our raiding environment is relaxed and friendly. We encourage our raiders to invite their friends and family to the guild. Hundreds of people have contributed to OOB since our founding in 2006 and all are welcome to stay whether they’re raiding or not.



Guild Code of Conduct:

  1. Support the guild and your guild mates. A guild is like a family, and as such, you should treat each member with the same respect you wish to receive yourself.
  2. Teasing and light-hearted jokes are normal, but if a fellow guild mate asks you to stop, do so. On the flip side, develop thicker skin. Teasing is a part of life, and while the officers will keep it from going overboard, not every joke is reason to take offence.
  3. Insults and blatantly offensive comments will not be tolerated, whether or not you think the person deserves it.
  4. Do not complain about someone or their play style. Suggest how they can improve. Failure on their part to heed such suggestions is not grounds for you to then hassle them about it. If it is something that impedes the guild's progress, talk to an officer, if not, let them play the game.
  5. Take care of disagreements in a civilized fashion. Disagreements are a part of life, but arguments and fights should not be. If you have a problem with a fellow guildie, approach them about it, and attempt to work it out. If an agreement can not be met, or you simply don't feel comfortable bringing it up with the other person, talk to an officer. They're here to help.
  6. Make an effort to keep your language polite on the forums, in guild chat, or in vent. Excessive crude comments are grounds for demotion and/or removal from a raid or the guild.
  7. Registration on the guild discord is required for all members. Information will be posted there that can not be properly conveyed in-game. It is your job to keep up with what is going on in the guild.
  8. Conduct yourself outside the guild in a way that will reflect well on our guild. Do not ninja loot or kills. Do not be rude and offensive to anyone (even if they're horde, that's what /chicken is for), and do not spam any in-game channels.
  9. Make sure you want to be here. No one is forcing you to be in this guild.
  10. Think before leaving the guild. If you gquit we are not inviting you back - look for another guild or apply through our website again.


Raiding Rules:

  • Check the “Raid Schedule” page for the most up to date raiding schedule. Invites go out 30 minutes before the official start of the raid, and you are considered absent if you are not online, ready to accept the invite at this time.
  • You must be at the raid instance before the raid officially starts with full durability, and all potions, elixirs, flasks, reagents, buffing food, bandages, and any special gear, outside your normal set that may be needed.
  • In order to raid you must have downloaded, installed, and configured Discord, Deadly Boss Mods, Decursive (if applicable), and Omen.
  • You must be raid specced for all raids. Remember that we are a team, and as such if you are asked to fill a role, that is where we need you.
  • You must pay attention to the raid leader at all times. Save questions and clarification until after he/she has finished giving instructions.
  • Before leaving the raid or going AFK, you must let one of the officers know. We rely on you being there to do your job. If you are not, it hinders the progression of the entire raid.
  • Damage meters are a perfectly acceptable mod to have to gauge yourself against previous weeks and others, however, reporting data to the raid or guild chat during the raid is not tolerated.


Raid Roster

The raiding roster is a list of raiders who are dedicated to showing up to raids, and who are expected to show up to said raids, barring an in-advance excuse and emergency. If you cannot make it to a raid you must declare, in advance, the date(s) on the “Raid Schedule” page. If you don't declare your absence (or at least talk to an officer about it) then you will get 1 no-show.

We require our raiders to commit to all three nights and keep 85%+ 60 day attendance. 



  1. Only raiders and initiates can hold DKP. Anyone removed from the roster (voluntarily or not) will get removed from the DKP list.
  2. Bidding priority is given to Raiders. If all such people pass on an item, then bids from Initiates will be considered.
  3. Raiders with 85%+ 60 day attendance will have higher priority for loot than those with lower attendance.
  4. 4 dkp/hour is rewarded during raids (maximum 3 times per night). So 12 dkp per night.
  5. Minimum bid is 5 dkp for Mainspec and 1 dkp for Offspec.
  6. Off spec must be included in your bid. Initiate status must also be included if you're an initiate. For example: "1 dkp off spec", "10 dkp initiate"
  7. If more than one person bids the same amount of DKP: The person with the highest total DKP will win the item for the amount they bid.
  8. No DKP cap.


Spending DKP

When loot drops in a raid instance it is handled as follows:

The officer will announce that they are, "taking bids on X" where X is the name of the item. Everyone who wants that item can send the officer a whisper with the amount of DKP they want to spend. This is a silent auction and you are only allowed to bid once. The 2nd highest bid + 1 DKP will be deducted from the winning bidder, and they will receive the item. 

A common sense rule:

All raiders need to bid on items after evaluating how much said item benefits them vs. other raiders. Our DKP system isn't a pure capitalistic model where the rich in DKP get to take whatever they want. You must consider whether or not the item in question would be a much bigger upgrade for someone else.



  • If we have more people than an instance allows then some people will be asked to be on the waitlist.
  • Everyone including the "waitlist" people will earn the same DKP.
  • You can get on an alt but you are required to be ready to raid as soon as you are called upon. If you don't respond within 5 minutes then you'll be removed.



  • If a person has 75% (or lower) 60 day attendance then they are put on probation. This means we're actively recruiting a replacement for them. Same goes for people with 3 no-shows.
  • Raiders with high overall attendance but low attendance when it matters (progression encounters for example) will be put on probation. Excused or not... missing important raids hurts us.
  • People who don't respond to constructive criticism from the officers will be on probation as well. If you are not performing to the standards of the guild and not doing anything to improve... then we don't want you.

The idea is that slowly we form and maintain a roster that is committed to the goals of the guild. A roster of people who are showing up 85%+ of the time, have great performance and will show up when it counts. This will of course depend on our ability to recruit replacements to the people who are not committed to the same goals as the guild. So raiders who want to down the hardest content need to get involved.
