Raid Roster (RR)
The Raid Roster (RR) system was created to address one of the biggest drawbacks of having a casual raiding schedule, commitment. A lot of guilds don't progress fast enough because there are not enough dedicated and committed people to fill the raids. Raids end up being cancelled or they do take place but the raid makeup is less than optimal.
What the raid roster does is ask everyone what exactly is their level of commitment - are they willing to come to your raids or is there something stopping them from doing so. The RR is an opt-in list of raiders who are dedicated to showing up to raids, and who are expected to show up to said raids, barring an in-advance excuse and emergency. If the person cant make it to the scheduled raids they must post, in advance, the date(s) and reason in the AFK forum.
There is a separate RR for each day of progression, such that if a person can only make Fridays with any consistency, they would be on that RR, and get preference on that day (But would be expected to show up as close to 100% attendance as possible).
The raid roster consists of 30 to 35 raiders to ensure that no raids are ever cancelled as well as having optimal raid makeup. The guild will recruit to maintain that "magic" number in the raid roster. Just to recap - being on the raid roster means:
- You must show up to the day you are signed up to 100% of the time (if you cant you need to let us know in the AFK forum)
- Priority on loot and raid invites over "Initiates" and "Members"
***Anyone may be removed from the roster if they don't perform to expectations or have an absence rate that is too high.***
